My Heart, My Home

Home is my heart. My strong foundation. The place where I feel like I don’t stand out in this nation. My happy place full of laughter. Where I can belong now, and after. A safe space full of joy. A place where I can enjoy the memories we make together. Me and my big family, birds of a feather. The open care full of love. The music with sounds, like a beautiful dove. The food my mom makes is so delicious. Where there is no harm, no vicious. I love my mom and my big family too, and I always know that they love me too. Home is wherever my family is. The place to share not hers or his. A place of love and kindness. A place with forgiveness. Home is where I am cozy and warm. Not a place where my blanket falls off my arm. Home can be described in many ways. You and I deserve a home always.
