What does home mean to me?

Home means family and friends to me. Having family meals together. I love my family! I also love playing board games together. Family meals are supposed to have happy conversations like talking about fun memories together. I love to talk at the dinner table instead of just eating in silence. I love when my friends come over because they are never shy. I love that because home is a place to feel safe, loved, happy and comfortable. For me, home is anywhere that includes my family. The reason why family and friends mean home to me is because those are the people I love the most and have the most fun with. When my friends come over, I always try to include them and when we play board games, I explain to them calmly and make sure they don’t feel like they don’t belong here. When I’m mad, sad or just frustrated, I go to my room to calm myself down but if that doesn’t work, I'll go hang out with my family instead. I love them so much and I'll never forget about them! House and home are two different things that most people think they are the same thing, but to me a house is a building where you live in. Home is feelings like feeling safe, comfortable and loved which is felt around friends, family and pets also. I have two brothers and one sister me and my two parents and those are the most important people in the whole world!
