What A Home Means To Me
Around my hockey stick I hear the sound of pucks slamming the wall.
When I'm around my hockey stick I see a goalie in the net ready to save a goal.
If I'm near my hockey stick I taste the victory pizza in our changeroom.
Whenever I touch my hockey stick I feel the grippy tape gripping to my hands.
When I think of my hockey stick I smell sweat dripping down my face.
If I think of my hockey stick I would feel excited because I remember my first goal. Another thing I would feel around my hockey stick is happiness because I love to play hockey.
Whenever I'm in the garage I always feel the wind whooshing around me.
If I'm in the garage I can hear the birds chirping when the door gets opened on an early Saturday morning. I would smell the damp garbage and recycling. In the garage I see all of my wonderful and great hockey and soccer equipment. If I'm inside of the garage I taste the helium inside of my bike tires.
That's what home means to me!
