My Home
Have you ever walked down the street and seen someone without a home? This makes me think about how important home is to me, from my ecstatic pets, all my stuff, and memories I’ve made. I feel lucky to have a place to sleep at night, especially with my crazy pets.
My dog, Muskels, is always energetic when I come home. She jumps on me, spins around, and even ripped a sock off me once! She’s a handful, but I love her. My five cats, Bobby, Baby, Millie, Rosebush, and Alexander, are another challenge. They shed everywhere. Imagine this, you are wearing new jordans, a nike tech, and a raptors hat only to be covered in hair by the morning! Despite the chaos, my pets make home feel like home.
Another part of home I love is my stuff and history. My house is over 100 years old, and there are layers of paint on the walls, including one from my mom’s childhood bedroom. My room is filled with things that make it mine like my mini basketball hoop and my Nintendo Switch. One of my best memories is playing 2K25 with friends and having a crazy, game-winning moment.
My home is full of memories, both good and bad. My 7th birthday was amazing, with a playground and candy. But there’s also the time my sister almost flooded the house. And the countless times I’ve fallen down the stairs, each one a mini heart attack! Still, some of my best memories are from times spent with my family and pets, like when we all had dinner together.
In conclusion, my life is full of love and memories whether it’s my crazy pets, cherished possessions, or special moments with my family. I’m grateful to have a place I can call home.
