Meaning Of Home

Sometimes when I walk home from school I see homeless people and wonder, ''How did they get into that situation?'' I start to notice how lucky I am to be able to always have a roof over my head and a cozy place to sleep. I look forward to getting home and my dog jumping beside me on the couch. Or during summer when me and my friends go straight to the trampoline and stay outside forever. These things to me are the meaning of my home. My home means a lot to me but one of the reasons is my family. I love it when every evening I have a delicious family dinner. And sometimes when someone gets up from their chair for just a second my dog will swoop in and steal their spot! Whenever I think of my family I think of home. Speaking of feeling like home somewhere in my house that I love is my room. I love my room mostly because of my bed but also because of my T.V, my desk and my clothes. My room is so warm and cozy and I love it so much! Another spot at my house I love is my backyard because of my bouncy trampoline. My backyard is also really cool because of the huge grass patch but sometimes in winter we can’t go on it because of my dog's poop that’s buried under the snow. My home means so much to me and before I rap up this essay I want you to know how grateful I am for all the privileges my home gives me. I love and appreciate everything I have like my Backyard, my Bedroom and my family. So when you go home tonight acknowledge everything that you have.
