What We Call Home

What makes home special to you? Home is special to me because of all the stuff I can do there. At my home I'm always with my great family, playing sports downstairs or playing different genres of music on my piano. These are the three most special meanings of my home. When I'm with my family I feel a sense of gratitude that I always have them to be with. Even though sometimes I'm down, my family is always there to help me get back on my feet. My family cheers me up and I cheer them up… So we're both helping each other. My family makes me feel the meaning of home. You know what also does that? Piano. As soon as I get home from school everyday I think of what to do. Piano is normally the first thing that comes up other than family. I play my piano for fun, and because I want to play for a crowd. My piano room is a great place to let feelings out. For example if I am having a good sunny day then I'll play a nice song. I also find it rewarding because somebody is always smiling. You know what's also downstairs? Basement sports, so let's head over there. "WHAMMM!!" is sometimes what I hear when I'm downstairs. The noise of my brother. As soon as I hear that it is an indication to head down (if I'm not already there) and go join my brother playing sports. I give him advantages but I still win 97% of the time. Basement sports is one of the meanings of home for me. Before you leave here today, I would like to remind you that without those three things it isn't home. Those things are the Meaning Of Home.
