My Meaning Of My Home

"Ruff ruff," Spencer says every time I get to my home. He brings me a toy and starts to whimper. I make him a feast with chicken, steak, and yogurt he eats it in under a minute. My dog is part of my home and there are lots of other things, but you will hear about my family, my bedroom, and my dog. That is what I love about my home. I have a rescue dog named Spencer. He was found tied up in Trinidad and was brought here by a rescue organization where we met him . At first he was a little timid of me and other strangers. With lots of love he has become my favourite good boy. I look forward to coming home to Spencer every day. My bedroom is my sanctuary. It is my favourite place to read and listen to music. In my bedroom I have a lot of things I have collected over the years. It is my cozy, happy spot that is just mine. You will often find me and Spencer cuddled up in my bed reading a book, which is to me the center of my home. A house is a place to live but what makes it a home is the family inside. I love my family more than anything. We do everything together from family dinner at the dining room table, soccer games in the backyard, and Friday movie nights. We love making memories in our happy home. My house is so much more than my home. It is my safe place that I love to come back to after a long day at school. It is the place where I laugh, cry, eat, sleep and where I can be myself. I am so lucky to have my happy home.
