My Safe Home

Home is more than a word; A home is a place that holds memories and laughter. Home is a place for me to have memories and our cultures without these things. This home is just a house. My home makes me feel cozy, warm, safe and loved. Everyone's home should be safe. My home is unique because every time I come home I smell the sweet smell of Filipino food lingering in the air coming from the kitchen. My home is a home because of food, family, our cultures and love. Those things make my family and home complete. My home isn’t perfect or complete, but my home can feel like the safest place. My home isn’t a house it’s a home and my family make my home feel safe.
