This Is What My Home Means to Me

This Is What My Home Means to Me By Hunter To me, home is a place where I can be myself and live life the way I want, not the way other people want me to live it. Home to me is a cozy place, in the cold months, my home is warm and in the hot months my home is cool. A home is more than a house, it is a place to start family traditions or to start a family, but a house has just four walls and a roof. In my home I live with my mom, dad, brother, two cats and two dogs. A home is made with family, not bricks, bricks are what a house is made of. My house is comfortable because I have family there, a bed to sleep in and food to eat. What makes my home my home is all my pets, especially my family. I know a lot of people do not have families, some do not have a home or clean water to drink, that is why we need to be grateful for what we have. Another reason my home is comfortable is because my bed is in my home, my bed is so cozy, every morning it is a struggle to get out of bed. A home is a place to celebrate, a house is just a shelter. In my home we have four pets but if we didn’t, it would not be our home, pets are a part of our home so without them, it would just not be the same. It only takes walls and a roof to build a house, but you need family to build a home. That is what my home means to me. THANK YOU, HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
