Home Times Two

I have two homes. It can actually be stressful, but it can also be fun. You may be asking yourself why it would be stressful ? Well it’s stressful because I have to go back and forth to my Mom and to my Dads. I love them both and sometimes that feels hard. I also have an older brother. He can sometimes be mean but it's ok. I still love him.That is why it’s stressful. It is also fun, because a lot of my friends play hockey and it is good for the most part. I live in Charlottetown, Labrador, I have lived here my whole life. It is very small and safe here and we are a VERY close knit community. Me and my best friend call each other sisters. We hang out a lot and talk about things. I also love it here because it is always pretty with the snow glimmering.It is also pretty in the summer, especially out in boat because the water is always shining. Ok back to me having two homes. My teacher says that I am lucky because I have two places where I can just be myself and where people love me. But sometimes it is still stressful, we recently started one week at one and one week at another it's way better that way. For the summer we always go to Halifax to see my family. We also see my sister and her cute puppy dog. His name is Romeo. He’s a Golden Retriever. I love him Sooooo much but I do get scared of him sometimes. I have the best teacher. She is very good at her job. My class can be loud.But she tries to make it in order.I am in grade 5. We are reading a book called Varjak Paw in school . It is very good. I brought in my own book for silent reading. I am reading “Harry potter” I'm starting to think things will be ok now with two homes. I have 2 rooms, 2 beds and 2 families.I am loved wherever I go. But one thing stays the same no matter which house I'm at … NO SWEARING!! Avery McNab
