The Meaning of Home

What is the true meaning of home? Well, the true meaning of home is different to everyone. In my home everyone is equal, meaning that we treat each other the same, and that we are always kind to one another. A house is just a building, but when you fill it with memories and the people you love, it turns into a home. Everyone deserves a home because everyone deserves a place to be safe, loved, and cared for. So the true meaning of home is really to be with the people and things that you love most. What does a home have that a house doesn’t? Well, a home has a lot more to it than a house. A home is full of special items and people. A house is much different than a home because it’s really just a building that is waiting to be turned into a home. Home holds memories shared with the people you love, home holds pictures to hold those memories, home holds love, joy, happiness, and kindness, and most of all home holds family and love. What makes my home important to me? Well that's an easy question because there are multiple things that make my home important to me. My favorite thing in my home is my family for lots of reasons. Like if I need someone to talk to I can go talk to my mom or dad, and they will listen and help me. Another reason is because my family members always give the most love to one another, like if I’m having a bad day my family will make me happy in many different ways. Love is also an important thing in my home because without love it wouldn’t be called a home. Also, without love everyone would just fight all the time. Why does everyone deserve a home? I think everyone deserves a home so they can make memories of their own, and having that feeling inside that others give you that makes you feel loved and safe. Another reason why everyone deserves a home is so everyone can have a place to call home, because then you know that you always have a safe place filled with loved ones. Home is special to everyone in many different ways. I love spending time with the people I love, because in my family we always have something going on so we don’t get much time altogether, so when we get together we really cherish it and have loads of fun. I hope that one day everyone in the world will have a home because everyone should have a place to call home. That is what the true meaning of home means to me.
