The Meaning of Home
Why is my home so important to me? I think my home is important to me because a home has hope, love, memories, and most importantly the people I share it with. This is because the only way a building can become a home is to fill it with family, love and memories! Now this says that home is a feeling, not a building, not something physical, it’s something that grouse as a feeling in our heart’s.
A house is just a building but a home is so much more than that. What makes a house a building and a home a true feeling is, well before you move into a home it’s just a house or a building but the second you fill it with the memories, your stuff, and your family it becomes a true home! Also a building’s just an empty place but a home is so much more.
One of the most important things in my home is the memories because when I think of home there's always one or two memories that come to mind. Another thing that makes my house a home is the family room, because the second I step into that room I get a sense of safety and hope that you don’t get in someone else's home or family room because for different reasons that makes up a home for them. Now last but definitely not least the people I share it with, my family of cours. Honestly my family makes me the person I am today, they bring me hope, joy, happiness and so much more. My family is completely indescribable.
If you don’t think everyone deserves a home, then I am extremely confused, because I love my home and could not survive without it! So I think everyone deserves a home because in my home I feel safety, and togetherness and if not having a home means theres non of that for them then they deserves to have a home. I think this because I think they have just as much right as I do to feel all those feelings that I feel.
At last the true meaning of home to me, the big idea. The true meaning of home to me is, well I think home is a feeling of happiness, a feeling of safety, and a feeling of hope. When I think about home I think, “what does it mean to have a home, why is home important to me?” It’s because home is a feeling not a structure, it’s togetherness. So then again I think everyone deserves a home because I want everyone to be able to feel the way I feel when I step into my home!
