What Home Means to Me

To me, a home is more than four walls and a roof, That's a house. To me. A home isn’t made by the workers, but by the family. A home isn’t made by bricks and wood, but by love and memories. A home is where we can be our own unique selves and be whoever we want to be. A home is where we live, work, play, and have fun. It’s the place where we make fond memories we know we’ll hold on to forever. It’s where we meet the people that warm our hearts when we’re feeling low. It’s the place where we feel! the best of ourselves. It’s the place where we’ve lived our whole lives. It’s where we can express our feelings It’s the place we love so much, But for those people who have lost their houses or are living in unsafe housing conditions need support and Habitat For Humanity gives them the support and the house that they need. I want to acknowledge Habitat for Humanity for everything that they do for those who have lost their homes or are in unsafe housing conditions. Their support has helped many people live in safe, clean homes. I also want to say that we never think about or be thankful for our homes enough, that some people just take their homes and houses for granted, but they are some of the most important and amazing places we have in the world Finally, I want to say thank you to Habitat For Humanity for making this contest So I could write about what home means to me Because you made me realize that our homes are the most important and wonderful places we have in the world.
