Lucky's Question

One day there was a little mouse named Lucky. Lucky loves to learn new things, like the time he had tried a new recipe for muffins, but it didn’t really go as planned. But still, he loves to try new things. One day Lucky went to school, and the teacher decided to talk about the difference between a house and a home. Lucky didn’t know the difference, so he asked the teacher and she said “Home is a sanctuary of comfort and security, but a house could be empty and dull.” Lucky understood a little, but he was still a bit confused. When he was on the playground, he came across his good friend Buster. He asked Buster the same question. Buster replied “A home is a place brimming with the aroma of home-cooked meals, just the way my mom makes ours. She’s always trying new recipes, every weekend we’re baking something. It doesn't matter what it is, we are always baking and I love it.” Lucky asked Buster for a couple of the recipes that he uses, and Lucky said “I’m definitely going to try those”. Lucky understood a little bit more, but he was still a bit confused. When he got home, he asked his mom “What is the difference between a house and a home?” His mom said “A home is a cozy retreat from the world”. Lucky was beginning to understand a little bit more. When Lucky was going to bed, his grandma was tucking him in and he asked her the same question. She said “Home is where every corner tells a story”. Before Lucky closed his eyes, he thought to himself that home is a place where he feels loved, wanted, heard and special, and it's something everyone should have. THE END
