What Home Means to Me

Everyone has a different meaning and perspective of their home. To me, home is just not a place to live, settle and thrive, but a place where you are always welcome, where love never comes to an end and where no one can judge you. At home, you can have endless laughter and time with your family. The best part of everyone’s residence is their family. Because of your loved ones, positive auras swarm inside you. When you are down, they cheer you up. That is how I expect a home should feel like. Here, you can be yourself and not let someone choose who you are. Anger or sadness, you can have all your emotions run through you at once here, but no matter what negative state you are in, there’s always love inside you and with you. My place is always welcoming, comfy and cozy. According to me, every home should consistently feel snug, cozy, and like a place you would want to stay all the time. Every time you arrive at home, the actual welcoming feeling doesn’t come from your decor of the house, but from the ones that love you, such as your parents and siblings. If your residence doesn't feel like that, you could brighten it up a bit, and that’s what I would do. Everyone’s dwelling should be their favourite place to be because, in every corner of the house, there would be joy, love, happiness, laughter and the lonely or alone feeling would never come. This is what home means to me. I am always allowed to come there and I never get negative feelings about it. My home is my favourite place to be than anywhere else. I love my warm and cozy home.
