What Home Means To Me
Home isn’t just walls and windows, it’s the people inside that count. If you just focus on the looks, you won't see the true beauty. Home to me can be a place of art and culture. Everyone is different, yet somehow the same.
A house is just a structure with no real meaning. The people who buy it make it their home with friendship and love.
When I was six, my family had to move out of our house. We rented a house and we made it feel like our home. It was a place where we would come back to after a long trip. It was where we would play games and share feelings. It wasn’t ours but it was still cozy. It was a place where our friend's home was literally two doors down and we would play games.
In my home, my parents make delicious food and we celebrate holidays and events. We have moments where we all are doing our own thing. We have moments when we are all laughing and sharing stories, and sometimes we have moments when we're all angry at each other but we’re still a family who still lives in the same home. We still love each other.
Home is a place with feeling. A place of excitement, sadness, joy and anger. A place where nobody is judged. I feel lucky to have a home like mine. Everyone deserves one.
