What is Home?

To me, home isn’t a place, it’s a feeling filled with love and grace. What makes a home isn’t the floor, it isn't the ceiling and it isn’t the door. It’s the people inside, and nothing more. The outside, the inside, the friends and the foes, when we’re all in a home, were never alone. Sometimes things get out of hand, but we’ll get through it. Together we stand! I know I’m home when I hear the diner bell ring, or at night when my mama starts to sing. It’s bedtime now, and I know I should be sleeping, but in truth, I’m on the verge of leaping. Because tomorrow’s a brand new day! I’m thinking. Still, quietly there I lay, not blinking. It’s not like a house can just fly away with wings, but in a home you can do lots of cool things! It doesn't matter which season or whatever the reason, because nothing can stop the rush of glee when I see that being home means being free.
