The Meaning Of Home Isn’t Just A House
The meaning of home is not just a house. It’s waking up and going to the dining room and eating fresh food. And, going to a good day at school and going back home. Going to activities like hockey, baseball, tennis and soccer. And to go back home after playing. And get a warm shower and towel.
Then before you know it, it's your birthday and then you'll have more stuff. Like clothes, food and maybe a bicycle. Then some good days will pass, then it will be Christmas. And you’ll get some more stuff, and even more food and clothes. And maybe a skateboard, then you can maybe watch a movie together.
Then it could be New Year's Eve. Everybody is excited for the New Year. At the party, at your house or even next door or the house across the street, enjoying time together. Home is all about being together.
You know, my family doesn’t stand out and fit in, I’m an only child and my house is not that chaotic. Home is quiet, home is caring. Home is not a house, home is home.
