What Home Means to Me

In a house a bedroom has a bed and a wardrobe. But in my home my bedroom is filled with my favourite toys. In a house a kitchen is where you eat and leave. But in my kitchen my mom’s food brings me joy! In a house a bathroom has a toilet. But in my bathroom the toilet is not just a toilet its where all family and I do our business. In a house a living room has a tv and a couch. But in my living room is where we gather and have our family meetings. I may not have a big house, but I am grateful for my home. In a house a basement has storage. But in my home my basement has some toys and is kind of spacious. I may not have a big house, but I am grateful for my home. In a home is where you build your future. Also, a place where you keep your memories. Also, where you express yourself. In a home is where you find love and joy. In a home is where you can uncover adventures. In a house adventures stay covered. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity for all you do.
