What is home?

Is home just a house with many walls and a roof, multiple floors? So what's the difference between a house and a home? Well a house may have a hot stove, and a nice hot jacuzzi. But a home has warmth you are glad to have, home is where the nice smell of your family's cooking spreads everywhere. Houses are where darkness and loneliness is there, and home is where you have the feeling of being safe and protected. After figuring out what's the difference between a house and a home, we need to know the types. There can be any type of a house but home is where nothing changes, houses may come big and small. But it’s not big enough to be home. Houses may appear nice from the outside but inside it’s truly nothing in the inside. Homes have a sweet scent and lovely feeling outside, but houses wait to be roamed around and be bought many times. People in need for a home are just watching from the outside as houses tower over them menacingly. Those who need homes are being treated horribly and starve, but those who are in need are the ones who truly have hearts. Everyone is glad to have a home and many don’t have one. That's why home matters and is very important to everyone's lives. Thank you Habitat for humanity for posting out this contest and truly making a difference for everyone.
