A Peaceful Home

“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty” - Psalm 91 This Bible verse relates to my home because I find peace there; peace in all the things I do, our daily devotions, reading books, playing sports and even watching tv. My home has the people (my family) that I can trust and the fun we have together. My pets always give me joy. Home is where I am comfortable. My Home is most important to me because of the people who comfort me and support me. My sister is supportive. She will help and is VERY kind. During sports she cheers for me. My mom is like an octopus because sometimes I wonder how she can do all of the things so fast. When I come home she makes supper and then has to zoom me to my soccer practice. Dad is a workhorse. He works very hard for our family and then he has enough energy to play with me and my sister. Playing board games with my family is the best. We all have a great time. My family is the most important part of our home. My home is peaceful because of the location. Our home has a beautiful pond with green trees and cattails growing all around. It is a wonderful place to take a walk. We don’t have much traffic on our road , so I can have a restful sleep. My room has all the things I need or want: a bed, nightstand, a desk, and a bookshelf. I love my peaceful house. I have two guinea pigs; one's name is Acorn and one's name is Oreo. Every time I go downstairs they are squeaking for more pellets. Acorn is a brown and black guinea pig and really likes pellets. Oreo is black and white like an oreo and he likes lettuce. I could not imagine me going down stairs and the guinea pigs not being there. They comfort me when I need a cuddle. They are also a very important part of my home,because of the laughs we get to have out of them. The guinea pigs make me laugh when they popcorn (Jumping up and down.) Sports are an important part of our home. We play volleyball in our basement and kick the soccer ball around. I play soccer and my sister does horseback riding. My dad also does soccer and he plays basketball too. I enjoy sports because I can be active and have fun. I also get to make new friends. This ties into my home because it is the roots of where all of the sports started. My home is very special to me. My home is more than just a house. It's a place where I feel comforted and at peace. It's a place where you can laugh, cry, and have fun, all with your family. Home is my favorite place to be.
