What Home Means to Me!

To me, home means feeling welcome and respected, loved and safe. Home means being able to share feelings: happy, relaxed, sad, and angry too, sometimes. Home is where I feel comfortable at my mom’s and at my dad’s house. At first, it was hard always switching from house to house every week and not knowing if it would be the last time, but they always came back. There were some advantages, like having two birthdays and two christmases! But there were some disadvantages too, like hauling my stuff back and forth each week, wishing I could stay a little longer. But it always felt like home, no matter what. Home is feeling respected, understood, loved, friendships and lots more. Home is wonderful.
