Home and a House
A home isn't a house, a house is only furniture, walls and a roof.
A home is full of emotion, colour, and memories and I don’t have a dog that woofs.
I have a loving family, worth fighting for my home.
It’s unique, there's no place like it, in my home I wander and roam.
In my home I have many memories.
In my home I hear my mom listening to melodies.
We have some fun and dance sometimes. We always have a good time.
In my home I feel great and awesome. We all eat food and dine.
In my room there’s a lot of furniture and pictures on the wall.
In my brother's room we play games like catch with a ball.
A home isn’t about toys or money or things you buy.
It's about playing with your family and I’ll tell you why.
In the winter, my family and I like to play outside.
We build igloos, have bonfires, and go down the slide.
My brother and I swing with fun and more.
We fool around and when we're done I'm kind of sore.
When my brother's friends come over to play,
We watch movies and play games, and I always wish they could stay.
I love my home and my family loves me so.
They love and support me and now you know.
A home is very different from a house because there’s love within.
Thanks for reading my story and I hope I win!
