The Meaning of Home

Home is different for everyone, but we can all agree, it's sacred and special, So here's what it means to me. The kitchen is full, Of a sweet smell, Its delightful not dull, But if you can't tell, Its special to me, The family room is warm, Around the fire, It's almost like a lovely desire, The blankets are big, So cuddle in tight, Hug your sister, And please do not fight, But if you can't tell, It's special to me. My room is safe, Like a secret oasis, I stay in here, On a day to day basis, I'm surrounded by love, It's a surgery treat. But if you can't tell, It's special to me. The tv is blaring, Its not at all daring, I cuddle in tight, To my mother whos caring, But if you cant tell, Its special to me, I feel safe and cared for, And i hope with me heart, That everyone feels the same, In a lovely sort of way, That's what habitat for humanity is doing,
