My Home

I know I'm loved at home because my family cares for me. My parents feed me delicious meals like pasta and chilli, and provide me with everything I need like a warm bed to sleep in. Whenever I’m feeling left out, my family picks me up and always makes me feel like I belong. They are always kind to me, understanding of me, and remind me that I matter. Memories are what makes a house feel special. One of my favourite memories of home is skating on my backyard pond with my dad. When I skate with my dad I feel happy because I love spending time with my family members. I like hearing our skates scraping on the ice and feeling the cold air on my face. We like doing tight turns and doing powerful stride skating together. I share my home with a lovely family. I love my amazing mom. She always gives me the best hugs and when I'm sad she always knows how to cheer me up. And the best dad ever. He is always kind to me and always wants to teach me new hockey skills so I can improve my skills. And my athletic big brother who does a lot for me and is such a great brother. When me and him play each other in a hockey game he doesn't always go easy on me which I like because I actually have a challenge.
