My meaning of home

My home is special because a lot of memories happen there. First, a home is a special place because I have a lot of memories there that you can’t take away. For example, my first words, my first birthday, and even my first steps. Next, in my home I smell my mom and dad’s cooking. It smells so good! I also love to hear the tv playing in the background of my family’s favourite shows. I see the pictures on the wall of my parents and grandparents. It makes me feel warm and loved that I am surrounded by my family. To me the difference between a house and a home is a house is a building that you go to almost every day. For example, if you take your first steps in a house it is a place you walked in, but a home is a place to store memories like a big brain you live in! A home could be anything! It could be a nest for birds, a cave for bears, and a place where people make a lot of memories. That is my meaning of a home!
