The Meaning of Home
A home is a home, and that will never change. It's where my family and I come together, and my dog jumps, plays, “sings,” and snuggles. It's where the heart is and where my inner self can be. A house is full of furniture, lamps, toys and a broom. In contrast, a home has love, joy, peace and hope in every room. A house means money and business, while a house has a meaning of love, joy and gentleness. A house might be shiny, clean or new, but every mess is a memory in a home, even if there are two. A house may be built of brick and stone, while a home is built on love, joy, peace and maybe a drone. A house may have fancy decorations, while a home might be used from generation to generation. A house might be full of new people or furniture, but a home has your back even if you're mature. A house might be a place of opportunity, while a home is a place of unity. A house is plain and boring, while a home consists of your dad's snoring. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for everything you do.
