What I Hope Everybody's Home is Like
What I Hope Everybody's Home is Like
By Haley Hariri
My home is special to me, because it's unique, where me and my family live and have fun.
To start off the day I will tell you about my bedroom that I share with my twin sister Abby. Which I think is unfair that my little sister Paige gets her own bedroom. Well in my bedroom I feel warm, safe, and have dreams. I also hear Abby being so loud and see my cute Stuffies on my pillow. My favorite part is the toys under my bed.
The most important thing that everyone's home should have is kind family members like the ones I have. Some examples are my mom cooking, Abby making fun crafts for people, my dad working, and I can't tell if my house is my house if there's no shouting or my dog barking. The problem is those last two examples aren't very kind.
I love my backyard. Mostly it’s where my little sister is silly, the place my dad makes pizza, where my sisters push me into the freezing cold pool, and where me and my sisters are shoveling paths in the snow for our dog. One last thing is my dog barking while people are passing by. His name is Arthur.
I know that's how my home looks, but I know a house is not a home. To me a house is full of fancy or neat furniture, not usually comfy furniture. A home is full of your loved ones. My home is full of my little sister's toys. You see, my family is kind enough to allow her to do that.
I hope in everyone's home they have a safe place to have fun!
