Memories of Home

Home’s not just walls and a roof. Home is a caring and loving place. My home is a nice place that you can go to when you are sad. We can help you in hard times and love everyone. My family and I like memories, so let me share some with you so you can get to know my family and home even more. My mom calls me and my brother down for breakfast. We rush out of bed and see some nice warm waffles and eat them. We hugged our mom and asked if we could go outside, my mom says yes. It started to rain so we go back inside and watched some tv together. This is my home. We go to the skatepark to ride our skateboards and scooters. We had a lot of fun at the skatepark but then I fell off. I am bleeding but my mom comes and comforts me. We went back home to eat ice cream together. This is my home “It’s time to go to bed!” my mom shouts. I get my pajamas on and jump in bed. My mom comes to my room and reads me a story. I fall asleep in bed while my mom kisses me on the forehead and then she turns off the lights. My mom closes the door and goes to sleep. This is my home.
