What does home mean to me?

Home has a very special place in my heart and always will. I grew up in my special place with my family. I love making people feel welcome and comfortable. When people come over, most of the time, they start out shy but after a couple of minutes they warm up and feel more comfortable. It is so fun to celebrate holidays with family and friends. On New Year's Eve, it is great because we get to watch the clock hit midnight and what I think about is that it is just another year to spend with my family in my home. I have learned how to walk had my first steps and it means a lot to me. My family built a homemade skating rink, and I learned how to skate on that same exact rink. My dad taught me how to ride a bike. I worked on getting it for hours I got frustrated but when I got it, I had joy through my whole body. Home is a safe place to me, and I can feel comfortable, be myself and I can express myself. More importantly, it is where I have fun! I love my home!
