What home means to you?

To me, home is a place I know, with people I know and trust. A home is a warm and comfortable place. It doesn’t need to be a huge house, but it must have space to grow and learn. A house has bedrooms to sleep in, bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining-room, a living room, sometimes a downstairs, closets and a laundry room. There are houses that have one floor, two floors and even three floors. My home is very important to me because I have been living in this house for about six years, and I have a huge connection with it. My home is in my house because when I am in my house, I always feel safe, with my mom or my 2nd older sister and my dog, Mocha. Whenever my siblings tackle me, Mocha will protect me, even if I am the one tackling them. I love when we all gather for a celebration or a daily meal or even if there are no visitors coming over, we all go to the table for a meal, and everybody is included. Whenever my friends and I are together, I feel like a big family and everyone knows each other very well and I can be myself with them, and my real family. At my home, I always have space if I want to be alone and they comfort me if I need it. I love my home I have a lot of fun memories with it and my family. I will never forget it and it will always stay in my heart. So now you know how important my home means to me.
