How I Feel About My Home

How I Feel About My Home By Katherine Deeley This is how my home feels like my home and not a house. My bathroom has a lovely fluffy rug that makes my toes feel warm. The bath in my bathroom is relaxing, calm, bubbly, and has a squeaky yellow rubber duck in the bath. After a long day I brush my teeth with my electric magenta toothbrush, and my strawberry flavored toothpaste. The living room in my home is where happy memories begin; with movie nights, buttery popcorn, and cozy wool blankets. Comfortable couches, soft pillows, and comfy armchairs live in my living room. Cozy furniture is where I sit down and play roblox on my tablet. That’s my living room with all those jolly memories. My kitchen has healthy eggs, savory chicken, and corn on the cob made by my mom. My favourites are butter pasta, homemade pizza, and yummy waffles. I sit on a comfortable stool and eat my delicious food. My family gathers in my kitchen and conversations start and laughter spreads. The bedroom in my home has a bed that has silky sheets and smells very sweet. I snuggle with my favourite bunny stuffies; that are fuzzy and small. I feel happy and safe in my medium sized bedroom. At the end of the day I jump into my pajamas and my parents kiss me goodnight. My basement has buckets filled with toys. I play happily with cheerful toys. I feel joyful and nice. My basement has an art room where my imagination grows. My art room has acrylic paint, markers, and pencil crayons. Every art project is very creative and beautiful. My family adores me and makes me feel loved. Thank you habitat for making wonderful homes like mine and making people feel safe.
