A Home Is Where You’re Happy

When I get up in the morning at 6:00 on the weekends, my bunny (Cinnamon) is biting her cage and growling at me. I sit down on the couch, watching her eat the lettuce I give her every morning. My little brother wakes up shortly after me to make pancakes for the family, and are they good! Then, my mom wakes up and helps my brother make my dad breakfast and coffee in bed. I sit down gobbling my 5th pancake. When we’re all out of bed, my brother and I play videogames while my mom and dad talk about work stuff. That is a good morning at my home. In the afternoon, my dad takes me and my brother to swimming lessons. I learn lots of new stuff. Afterwards, me and my class sit in the hot tub for a while. Then, we go straight to curling class. I try to throw a take-out and score! Home isn’t a house, it’s where you have fun with friends and family! When it’s the evening, my family and I get comfy by the couch and watch a movie. Or maybe I’ll play LEGO or draw with my brother, but regardless of what I do or where I am, my home is where I’m happy.
