Enny's Home

Hello! My name is Eniola (Eh-ni-yoh-la) Carloise (Car-loys) Bicada (Beecahdah) Adekagun. You can call me Enny (Ehnnie). I live in Saint John, New Brunswick. I am 10 this year! I used to live in the Philippines…well, not anymore I guess! This is what home feels like. Moving to a different country and house wasn’t easy – saying bye to your friends is hard. Saying bye to your house forever is hard. Because it was HOME to me. Going home while being walked home on the tricyle, playing Tagutaguan (Hide and seek) at school. Eating Jollibee (restaurant) when there’s a birthday at school. Playing games after school. Watching Filipino commercials. Watching Darnd, watching Kapamilya Live. BUT we’re not talking about that! We’re talking about what HOME feels like. Home. Nothing feels like the sounds of chatter in a home. In a house, it’s just s-i-l-e-n-c-e. In a house…it’s just arguments. But in a home it’s small arguments but BIG LAUGHS. Honestly, a place is a house. But home is where my family and love goes. Sometimes having your family beside you is the BEST. The end. The difference between a HOUSE and a HOME is… “a house will always be a house. But a home? It will stay forever.” Enny Inspired by : “Love is always making a house, a home.” Random door sign
