The Meaning of Home

In the entryway welcome the warm embrace and where you transition to a safe loving home. A house is made of walls, roof, bolts and nails, a beautiful fence on the porch where people come in to have a good time. A house is not a home till you make memories. What's a home? It's a place where you can escape, a home full of love, kindness and caring people. The living room is for togetherness where laughful fills the air. The living room is where the laughter unfolds, joy and happiness fills the conversations. A space where warmth unfolds. As you walk in the kitchen you can smell the fresh bread, muffins, and cookies in the air. You can taste the sweet treats. A bedroom is a place to snuggle up with a plushy. A bedroom is a place where dreams come true. A cozy room full of love chooses you. The bathroom holds a reflection in the mirror. It's where you say have a great day, you are beautiful ,you are kind, you are amazing. It helps you choose yourself and say I am perfect the way I am. The attic and basement are where memories stay and grow. Not having one of those has no memorie home just like you having a memorie room is like having a home. A garden space is where the outside lives as nature grows and the flowers shine. As you Experiment with the flowers that grow, make your whole home grow. A home is a feeling a place where everyone truly belongs A safe place to rest if tired. Everyone deserves a home. Habitat for humanity helps people that don’t have homes or that needs one, Thank you for everything that you do.
