No place like home

A home is more than just a residence, a home is familliar, a place with a warm and welcoming presence. A home is a place where you are free to roam, a house is simply a building you own. A home is a place for comfort, relaxation, and prayer. A place of stories. A house is a thing that is common, yet rare. A home is like a secret lair, your personal space. A place where love lingers in the air; a place where you can collaborate and share. To me, home means having a nice warm meal. A bathroom where warm water bubbles in a bathtub. The smell of your favourite food being prepared makes the taste feel real. A home means Eating desserts and snacks in my room, working on crafts at my desk such as crochets and rainbow looms. A home is sitting by the A/C on a sweltering burning summer day, even if I need to do work, I won't do it anyways. A place that is filled with my family's love and affection. A place where my talents and efforts get attention. A home is a place you've been in just recently or for many years. A temple of memories; filled with joy, and shedding tears. There's no place like home, that's no doubt. Home gives off a warm fuzzy feeling all throughout. What my home means to me may be different to you. But there's one thing that's similar and true. Home will always be a loving place to you.
