The Meaning of Home

The meaning of home is more than just a place to live. The meaning of home to me is family. Having a home makes me happy because it means being together with the people I love. It always feels like home no matter where we are. We could be at my Nana and Papa’s or at my Aunt’s store, as long as we’re together. Having a home makes me feel safe and comfortable. It’s where I create a space that’s all my own. It’s a place that’s full of laughter and support. A home is more than just a house, a home is where you feel safe, comfortable and loved and a house is just the shell of your home. Habitat for Humanity helps build homes for people who need it, they make sure everyone has a place to stay and has a roof over their heads. Thank you Habitat for Humanity!
