What Home Means to Me

I may have one home but that's enough for one family. A house may have a bed to sleep on, but a home has love and care. A house may have a TV to watch, but a home has jokes followed by laughter. A house may have a bathroom, but a home has joy and happiness. A house may have toys to play with, but a home is welcoming and playful. A house may be beautiful, but a home is fun and meaningful. A house may have lots of activities, but in a home you can share and laugh. A house may have AC, but a home is loving and quiet. A house may have a car, but a home is where everyone belongs. A home to me feels really happy inside because we now have a roof over our heads and warmth to keep us comfy. My home has a one thousand piece puzzle up on the wall in my bedroom, and when I look at it it makes me feel happy, because of the memories of when I did it in 2024. I'm working on my one thousand, five hundred piece puzzle. Me and my brother share the same bedroom, because whenever my little sister gets scared in her bedroom we can make her feel safe and happy in our bedroom. In my bed, I have a lot of stuffed animals, so when I get scared I cuddle up with my stuffed animals, which makes me feel better. My home smells like an ocean. In my basement, and sometimes in my home, you can hear the heater and the washing machines. My home is very small but very comfortable. It is excellent, safe and can fit one family.
