What Home Means to Me

Home is not just a set of walls or a roof, it's a safe place where you laugh and smile . I wake up to my moms warm loving smile waiting for me to give her an enormous hug. Every room in my house tells a story of love and care.Home is a safe place to sleep and eat and drink ice cold glass of icy water and this is home. Home is a sanctuary full of love and kisses home is like a big warm hug waiting for me moms homemade cookies taste like heaven. They are sweet like apple pie With ice cream on top . When my mom makes me my favorite meals they smell like she put hard effort Into making I appreciate her hard working skills. This is home. Home is a peaceful place. When we sit down on our deck for when the sunrise goes down we see the shades of grass waves dancing in the wind. When the sunrise does go down we go inside. My mom says popcorn and my brother races down the hallway like our life depended on it. When it's midnight and the movie starts mom hangs on to me tightly like someone will be there for me in my journey and this is home Home is a peaceful place. Facing down in front of the house is a magnificent beautiful lake full of frogs and fish. When it's bright out the lake glimmers in the sun. You can see your reflection but when it is night it's the most peaceful place on earth. At night when I fall asleep I hear little waves . It feels like they rock me slowly to sleep then I dream until tomorrow slowly This is home
