Home is a Good Place

A home is a place big or small, thick or thin. Home is a structure where we watch Friday night movies, I play with my sister, and sleep with my cat. I play basketball all the time with my dad and bake with my mom. I have everything I ever wanted: a warm blanket or a warm fire, a nice family that helps me with my struggles and needs no matter the size. I'm happy I have a place to walk into and cry, even a happy cry. My house means so much to me, even if I often do not acknowledge it as much. I love my home so much. I have everything I could ever want: cats, toys, lots of fun stuff that I love. I'm very happy to have a home, but home doesn't have to be a structure. It can be a team or friend’s house, even a store, parent’s work or even a park. You make your home special, enjoyable and fun. You are special no matter what is in your house: a tv, a bed, a game, a book, anything you can replace but not you. You make a house a home, you are the noisemakers, you are the cherry on top that makes life better. No matter the home. It could be a home or apartment or even a tent or camper or sidewalk. You only have one life so do what you want. You are the star of your movie, the home run in your baseball game, so your life matters the most.
