What Does Home Mean To Me?

A home is made of memories and colour where a house is just like any other. The halls stretch long and wide filled with items to showcase with pride. A bedroom is a place where you can escape. It's comfy and cozy and never aches. A place of your own that is secret, and unknown to others, a place to increase your true colours. The office is a place of creativity, a quiet place to work, a place to continue creating, a place that is always running. Stacked with paper and pencils and pens, the place of work that never ends. It can be hard and tests the heart, but it's worth it. The living room is full of potted plants and a comfy sofa to tie loose ends. A place of socialization for family and friends and a comforting aura to make amends. The fireplace is warm and full of love, the way the flames go up above, the sizzles and crackles represent what we lost and how we came together again, the way family never ends. The kitchen is full of laughter and joy, the aroma of smells in the air made with love and care. Filled with memories old and new. The bathroom is a place of imagination or a dream to come to a realization. Cleansing for the mind, and is always bright. Scents of lavender and cleaner, have never been sweeter. A house you can claim as your own, but you have to walk through the door. Home is always yours.
