How Lucky We Are To Have a Home

Most of us have a home but not all. A home and a house are two different things... They might seem alike but your home is unique. I've seen people walking the street looking for a place to live, but many people walk for a while. As we watch them walk, they see all of us in a place that we love or a special space. Some people don't even think about, how lucky they are. They don't always realize how hard it can be to live a life wondering if this is what it's going to be- alone on the street. Cold and hungry. Imagine if that was you … how hard it would be. Picture seeing people in their warm homes. You would probably think it was unfair. Imagine if that was everyday of your life. I can just barely imagine it I've seen people whose lives are like that. I have realized how lucky I am: I have a home. I have food. And I have love. Some people don't have all of that. So this is my thank you to you. Thank you Habitat for Humanity. Thank you for helping those in need those who might not have a home those people who had to leave their home. Thank you!
