Meaning of Home

A house is made of walls and rooms. A home is a feeling. Home is a place where I am most happy. I need my home when I'm sad and when I’m scared. I also need my home when I want comfort or someone to talk to or give me advice. I need my home when I need a hug or want to have a good laugh. My home is a place where I feel safe, loved and cared for. Home is my family. It doesn't matter where we are living but as long as we are together. Home is hugs, laugher, saying “I love you” and arguing too. It’s the homemade cooking and baking we do together. Home is the love I feel from my family and for all that they do for me to keep me safe and help me grow. It is a place where I am happy. Home is a place where I can be myself and that I feel most comfortable to be in. It is a place where I am safe from the outside world. Home is a place where me and my family make memories. It is the place where I belong surrounded by my family who love and care for me and keep me safe. It is a place that helps me through the bad times and shares with me in the good times. It is a place with laughter and joy, tears and comfort. Home is my Mom, my Dad, my little sister, Cora and my little brother, Salvatore. There really is no place like home.
