Home is Family

Hi, my name is Merida, and I will be talking about how home is family to me. A home is like a family member to me because, you can always count on it when it’s to cold outside or when there’s a problem, home is the one place that’s always there for you, not a house a home. You’re probably wondering how is a home family, well family isn’t just the people that are born in to it, it’s also the people who you chose to be in it for example my aunt she is my mom’s best friend and she is my aunt, and I love her so much! See my home is a family member to me. Look some people don’t have a house/home, family or someone to talk to and that’s hurts. Ok I want you to imagine being on the streets in a Winnipeg winter, having little to no food/supplies, you could DIE! This is why home is family is to me. Home is where good and bad news happens, it’s also where you can feel safe. I feel safe in my bed when I’m in my blankets and stuffies, or when I’m with my dog. So not everyone has a safe place to call home and that’s scary and dangerous, and I just feel so bad for them, so please let everyone have a home!
