A Place I Call Home

In my kitchen, I can smell the fragrance of dinner for my family. In my living room, I see my cat playing with a felt ball and my dad sitting on a chair taking a sip of tea. I feel loved when I’m around family. I feel like someone will always have my back. I hear the laughter of joy when my dad tells a joke. A home is a place where fond memories grow. In my eyes, a house is a place where you live. Home is where love emanates from inside. The people in your home lift you up when others try to pull you down. A house you can find in a store, a family is worth a lot more. Some people may feel, look, and act strong but love is the strongest. I think that everyone deserves a home to love, enjoy, and live in. I love my home.
