Meaning of Home

When you walk into your house do you get a feeling that you are safe and loved. Or maybe when you walk into your home you smell freshly baked cookies. Everyone has a different feeling when they walk in whether it is smells, sights or sounds. Hello, my name is Eli and today I will be talking about my meaning of home. To start off let’s talk about family. Family is one of the most important parts of home to me. My family gives me a roof over my head, warm food to eat and a cozy warm bed to sleep in during the cold winter. Family is also important to me because they help me when I am sad or hurt. And even if we are not on each other’s best side, we still always love each other. Moving on, now we will talk about safety. Safety is important to me because safety isn’t just not having burglars breaking into your house it also has to do with having good health and a safe bed to sleep in. But overall safety is a must have when I am at home. Next, I will move on to talking about community. Community is by far one of the biggest parts of home to me. It is important because my community is there to help, and I am there to give back to them. In the end we are always there for each other. To wrap things up I would like to say that for me home is all about family, safety and community to me. Home might be different for you but that is home for me. Thank you for reading my meaning of home story and I hope you enjoyed!
