The feeling of home

Home in winter is coming into a home with my crackling fire in the wood stove and a warm hot chocolate on the living room couch with a blanket. But home in the summer is different. It is getting home from the beach, a cold popsicle and a nice cold shower. At my home in spring and fall are even more different. In fall, I like drawing all cozied up on my couch or in my bed with a stuffy or two and sometimes with a warm fire! In spring, I love to come inside from gardening and get either a cold drink or a very cold popsicle and maybe get more tools from my cozy garage. I love the taste of my mum’s homemade waffles and pancakes and my dad’s flavorful ribs and his scrumptious steaks. Me and my twin sister Cassie, love baking banana chocolate chip cookies and muffins! The aroma of the banana chocolate chip cookies and muffins just smells like home to me! Cassie, my mum and I love making strawberry rhubarb and strawberry jam! I like to watch the deer go and eat the bird feed and the carrots that we put out in my backyard. I also like to watch the birds at the bird feeders with the deer! My dad, me and Cassie like to make bonfires in the backyard. The sizzling of the bonfires is so nice! I like roasting marshmallows and making smores All of these things feel like home to me! Whether it is winter, summer, spring or fall with one air conditioner or not , I love my home just the same.
