What is home?

You might think a home is a building with four walls with a roof but with a family living inside, but sometimes a home can make memories that slide into the back of our minds. A home is somewhere where you can feel comfortable, even do a movie night a fun or a scary one for a little fright. A home is where you can eat dinner with your family and have an enjoyable time while feeling fine. Sometimes you might not be in the same house but with family you can find a new place to explore. A home is where you can have fun with your siblings or by yourself, so you guys can smile and share the joy to oneself. A home has a beautiful backyard full of plants, where you can go gardening with your aunts. A home has a pool, where you can play in the water after school. A home has a dog, which you can introduce him to your hedgehog. A home is where you can feel protected, with friends and family you can feel respected. A home is where you can spend some family time, cause your family is worth way more than a dime. A house is not a home, cause without family it’s not the same when you roam. Whenever you arrive home from school, you may try and act cool. Whenever you do your homework, with your family you can finish it with teamwork. Your home is your haven, your safe place, but you must believe in yourself as you know you’re going to win that school race. A home can have everything you will ever need, even books if you need to read. A home is not the same without family, without family it’s only a house.
