The Meaning of Home

I think home is a place where you feel safe, cheerful and cherished. It’s not home if you don’t feel those things. If you are afraid a lot in your house it’s not a home. If you go to bed at night and think to yourself I am not safe, it’s not a home. If you never feel happy in your house it is not a home. If you never feel loved in your house, it is not a home. Even if your home does not have high-end furniture and maybe you do not have a bunch of toys. All you need is to feel safe ,cheerful and cherished and that is what makes it a home. It is a lot of work to make a house feel like a home but it will eventually develop. If you ever go to bed and think that you're not safe just say to yourself I AM SAFE and it will make you feel better. And that is what makes a house a home.
