Home

Home is a warm hug that never gets cold, home is laughter that never gets old. Home is four walls that enclose the right people, home is a safe place where no one grows evil. People deserve a place to stay, people, animals and the stray. Some people are less fortunate than we are, with the bills and the prices it's been hard. But we can help them find a place to live, with shelters, group homes and other little things. When I am with my family at night, we play board games and have no fights. I want other families to experience the fun, but they can't do that without a home. A house can hold memories, emotions and lost love. Dreams and beginnings and stars from above. Pictures on the walls and stockings by the chimney, a family on the sofa and the kids watching Disney. With the parents in bed and kids asleep, the house is quiet, not even a peep. Some kids have dreams that they are doing a backflip, others dream of baa baa black sheep. It doesn't matter what you dream of or what you say, this poem is here to help everyone find a place to stay.
